2018 March Break Camps

A child in a PLASP program

PLASP's March Break camps are returning to a location near you! Operating between March 12-16, 2018 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., these licensed, inclusive, full-day camps are offered at select locations only. Camps are available for children in kindergarten to grade 6.

Please be aware that PLASP March Break camps are available only to families already registered in a PLASP before or after school program. Camps are added through the parent web portal.

Camps feature a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Each day, a nutritious breakfast and afternoon snack is served. Children will be required to bring their own bagged lunch. Please see our bagged lunch policy for more information. A camp-wide pizza lunch will be provided on the last day of each camp program.

All locations are subject to change with notice.

Children will participate in fun, age-appropriate activities including:

  • Physical activity (co-operative games, sports)
  • Arts (drama, music, visual arts)
  • Quiet activities (language, literacy, listening)
  • Construction and design
  • Nature and science

PLASP camps are based on learning through play and follow the Ministry of Education pedagogy How Does Learning Happen? Camps help children strengthen their minds and bodies in a safe environment. Program staff will work with the children to develop program plans and activities based around their interests.

If you are a parent who has already had children in a PLASP camp before, and have expressed interest in returning, you do not need to submit a new registration. An email has been sent to you regarding the status of your child's space.
